I get the job done and deliver what I promise. Clients are kept completely informed on their projects--good news, bad news--transparency is key. I have the ability to find solutions to every problem. My energy level is noted by all who meet me as my best trait and I'm capable of communicating with all personality types: really.
My network is deep, developed over a thirty year career span in entertainment and visual effects. My experience in vfx began “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” where I rose from production coordinator on the original STAR WARS to production supervisor at ILM. I am coauthor of the Ballantine coffee table book on ILM: Into the Digital Realm. As Executive Producer of an ABC Saturday morning stop motion TV show, I turned a company on the verge of shutdown into a production delivering on time and on budget. I’ve played key marketing and business development roles at both Rhythm & Hues and Tippett Studios. When Kerner spun off the physical effects departments from ILM four years ago, I joined them as Executive Producer and marketing director. I’ve been on the board of the Visual Effects Society for a decade. In 2007 I went back to school and earned an MBA from Columbia University and UC Berkeley’s Haas Business School. Honored by my classmates with the “Most Distinguished Service Award,” this experience expanded my network beyond the film industry into all facets of business.
